Steve Triola at the clown museum he’s planning to open up next year in Barstow, California. I first met Steve on the Venice Beach boardwalk back in 2011. He’s been a working clown in LA for the past 25 years. He mostly does birthday parties in lower income areas…but between gigs you can catch him making balloon animals for tips at various restaurants & farmers markets around town. Steve is a history buff and a bit of a world traveler, his lifelong dream has been to open a clown museum with all the funky artifacts he’s collected on his journeys over the years. I was happy to hear that Steve bought an abandoned doctors office in Barstow (halfway between LA & Vegas) and the museum is finally coming to life…this place is gonna be crazy!
I heard Steves story on Soft White Underbelly and I just want to say that he is the most amazing person I’ve come across. I plan on going to California this summer and I hope I make it to see the museum. I’d love to hear more about his experiences and I think so many people could learn from him. Keep up the good work Steve, you are the brightest star in the sky I wish you all the best. It’d be great for you to start a podcast , you have your first subscriber right here!
I remember having him at me and my brothers birthday parties, always making us laugh! Cannot wait to support him and come out to see all of the interesting artifacts!
Looking forward to his museum becoming a reality
Excited to see the finished result!!! Congrats Steve
