For the past few years I’ve been shooting photos of Lake Michigan when it freezes over. Once February comes around it’s usually so full of interesting textures that it looks almost otherworldly. This year I decided that I wanted to take it up a notch and buy a drone to do some aerial cinematography over the lake. I spent 10 brutally cold mornings exploring the icy tundra.
